Mrs. Molly Resnick grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel, in a secular Sefardic family from Bulgaria, and went to Hebrew University of Jerusalem. As a young adult, she came to America, the land of opportunity, seeking her fortune. She landed a job at NBC News as the producer of an interview program called “Five Minutes With…” In the ‘70s and ‘80s there was only “The Today Show” and Molly’s show. Coming from a country that did not have television, this should have been a dream come true for her, but as she was working at NBC, Molly started asking questions about herself and the meaning of life and so she went searching.

Molly will share what she found at Shabbat 24/6 in a first-person account of transformation from a secular newswoman to a woman with a newfound passion for Judaism, and her stunning encounters with the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn.

Molly married Dr. Lawrence Resnick in 1980 who was the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s personal physician for over a decade. Today, Molly is president of M.A.T.C.K.H.: Mothers Against Teaching Children to Kill & Hate; she is a lecturer, journalist, and mentor of countless young Chabad women, and she is the proud mother of Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries in California and New York.
