Growing up, Koppel Cohen was a child soloist in the Tzlil V’zemer Boys Choir and sang with Shlomo Simcha, the Canadian artist and Jewish singer. Over the last 29 years, Cantor Koppel Cohen sang in dozens of countries. He has been the lead Chazzan for the High Holidays at The Chabad House on Palm Beach for the past six years. Prior to that, he was Chazzan at The Shul in Washington, DC, and at the Union County Torah Center in Westfield, NJ.
With his heartfelt singing style, he uplifts the crowd, engaging them in the davening and incorporating familiar tunes for their enjoyment.
In his 30th year of leading services for the High Holidays, we are thrilled to welcome him back, by very popular demand, to Palm Beach. Cantor Cohen resides in Pembroke Pines, FL, with his wife Rivkah and their four children.
