Chabad of Northern Palm Beach Island, 361 S. County Road, will have late-night learning and desserts starting at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Chabad also will welcome the community at 6 p.m. Wednesday for a reading of the Ten Commandments and a dairy fest at The Chesterfield.

Rabbi Zalman Levitin, spiritual leader of The Chabad House, noted the importance of making the holiday relevant and meaningful today. “On this holiday we encourage young children, even babies, to attend as they are the best guarantors that the Torah will continue,” he said.
