About a hundred people turned out on Sunday night to watch an oceanfront menorah lighting to celebrate the sixth night of Hanukkah.

Rabbi Zalman Levitin, of the Chabad House of Northern Palm Beach Island, and Rebbetzin Hindel Levitin, hosted the two-hour “Chanukah on Worth” event on South Ocean Boulevard between Australian and Chilean Avenues.

Activities included the menorah lighting, a photo booth with costumes, a dreidel bounce house, crafts and a hot food buffet.

The Community Hanukkah Celebration at Bradley Park begins at 5:30 tonight. It also will feature a menorah lighting, children’s games, music and food. A winter carnival and a tribute to Israel are planned.

The eight-day festival of Hanukkah began at sundown Dec. 16 and ends at nightfall Wednesday.
