  • Rabbi Shneur Silberbereg

"Do what is right because it is right, and leave it alone," said Chiune Sugihara. During the Holocaust, the world witnessed the very darkest side of humanity, but it also revealed the equally powerful capacity for heroism and courage.  What distinguished the heroes of the Holocaust from the millions who stood by silently? What does heroism mean today? The stories of those who came before us shed light on this critical and powerful topic.

Rabbi Shneur Silberberg is the associate rabbi of the Bais Chabad Torah Center of West Bloomfield, Michigan, where he provides intriguing Torah classes, synagogue services and holiday events. He is well-known for his Jewish education classes which attract hundreds of participants weekly.
