It was the final Hanukkah event on Worth Avenue and was hosted by The Chabad House, Rabbi Zalman and Hindel Levitin, and Moneca Kaufmann of Kaufmann de Suisse. Drawn by Jewish music, shoppers stopped in and enjoyed latkes, donuts and hor’s d’oeuvres and plenty of “chocolate gelt” for children. “Like a candle can light up a dark room, one good deed dispels much darkness. I bless our entire community with much light and success this season,” the rabbi said.
