Final Redemption — Rishe Deitsch will address the question “What if I don’t want the Messiah to come? What if my life is just fine as it is?” during a talk Friday night at the Palm Beach Jewish Center, 205 Royal Palm Way.
“The Jewish people have been believing in the coming of the Messiah (Moshiach) and the Final Redemption for thousands of years. Waiting for, hoping for, longing for the Final Redemption is an integral part of being a Torah-true Jew,” says Rabbi Zalman Levitin of the Palm Beach Jewish Center.
The talk will follow services at 7 p.m. and a hot Shabbat dinner.
The rabbi adds, “Even though she is my mother-in-law, I have to admit she tells a good story!”
