Rabbi Zalman Levitin of the Chabad of Northern Palm Beach Island is taking his shofar campaign to Worth Avenue for the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashana.
“The blast of the shofar is a powerful call to repentance and, while the shofar reminds us that we should take the new year to improve ourselves and our community, we also have plenty of reason to celebrate what we have,” said Levitin. “I invite them to witness the shofar blowing, which is the opening act to one of the happiest times of the new year.”
Helping the rabbi during the High Holidays are rabbis Nissy Deitsch and Levi Levitin.
