Shabbaton at Chabad — A cantorial Shabbat featuring Cantor Asher Scharf will be hosted this weekend by Rabbi Zalman and Hindel Levitin of Chabad of Northern Palm Beach Island. Scharf will be at services and dinner at 6 p.m. tonight and at 10 a.m. services Saturday at The Brazilian Court, 300 Australian Ave.
Scharf has conducted the Shabbat services in The Great Synagogue in Jerusalem; and all over Europe, Israel and Canada. He is a composer of contemporary Jewish music.
