A dinner and talk highlighted Holocaust Memorial Evening on Wednesday at The Chabad House. Chaim Walter Lebensohn, who was 11 during the Holocaust, shared his narrow escapes and recounted the horrors of the time. “Each of us as individuals has to remember that we have an obligation to learn about our Jewish heritage and participate in our traditions,” he said.
Candles were lighted in memory of the 6 million Jews who perished during the Holocaust.
